Plus, we are vet-recommended and we offer obedience training for all breeds, as well as novice pet-training classes.We offer clicker training on Wednesday & Saturday & traditional training on Monday & Thursday.

Dr. Jennifer Catter & Jack Topham, Trainers (25 Years of Training Experience) - Specialize in Clicker Training
Dr. Jennifer Cattet;
With a PHD in Psychology and a major in Ethology (Animal Behavior), Dr Jennifer
Cattet is an Animal Behavior expert with an emphasis on the relationships
between dogs and humans. Born in the US, Dr Jen spent most of her life in
Europe where she studied and worked under Ariane Etienne, a student of the
Nobel Prize Konrad Lorenz, one of the founders of Ethology, famous for his work
on imprinting, and Jean Piaget well known for his theory of cognitive
development. Having specialized in the behavior of dogs and other canids, Dr.
Jen opened the very first dog training and behavior modification facility in
France based on clicker training. She also conducted workshops for
veterinarians and dog trainers in France & Switzerland. Now back in the US,
Dr Jen is the Director of training for ICAN, a not for profit specialized in
the training and placement of service dogs.
Having worked with dogs for over 25 years, Dr Jen has acquired extensive
experience in helping dog owners modify behaviors that impacted negatively on their
dogs. Her work with animals, as a research assistant, a dog trainer and
behaviorist and as a teacher for staff members of shelters, pet stores and
veterinarians, have always been guided by the desire to help pet owners to
better understand their animals, so that they can enjoy the rich rewards
that a positive relationship with a pet can offer.
Jack Topham;
Experienced in training service dogs, Jack Topham has been volunteering as a
trainer for ICAN (Indiana Canine Assistance network) and as an occasional
assistant to Dr Jen in the training or the offender/trainers. He also works as
a professional trainer for one of the leading pet supplies company.
Jack is constantly learning about the latest training techniques and is
passionate about helping owners and their dogs develop a more harmonious
relationship.
